What can I say about Amanda & Shane? They were made for each other. They mold together. They balance each other out. They compliment each other’s personalities.
Amanda first found me on a bride group on facebook-one of my favorite ways for people to hear about me! When I met the two, Shane & I realized we graduated high school together-small world!
Since then, over the many emails, phone calls, meetings & of course, the engagement session, we’ve all grown close. I can typically say that about all my clients. I’m lucky in the sense that at the end of the wedding day, it doesn’t feel like I’m working. It feels like I just watched my two friends get married. Having this relationship with my clients, not only makes my job that much easier, it also allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level & produce even greater images.
And their engagement session was no exception. We went to Pippy Park. When I suggested it, the pair said this was a perfect location because they often go for walks there. What I like about Pippy Park, is there’s a variety of options for locations. I usually start near the playground, where there’s a big open, private area. Then I head down the hill, grab some there before heading towards the pond. It was a sunset session-just like all my sessions are. The lighting was absolutely stunning.
No words are needed when it comes to these two. Their connection is real. It is clear. It is all around you when you’re near them. I can’t wait to photograph their big day on Saturday!
